As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Days of Talas and Chui regions of the Kyrgyz Republic were held in Taraz. The festive event was attended by Akim of Zhambyl region Berdybek Saparbayev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in Chui region Erkin Tentishev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in Talas region Bakytbek Narbekov.

The Kyrgyz delegation visited a number of industrial and social facilities in Zhambyl region, including the ethno-historical complex "Tekturmas". In this regard, the staff of the historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri" conducted an introductory tour for the guests of the city in the ethno-historical complex "Tekturmas". The guests of the city were very pleased to get acquainted with the history of the Kazakh land, including the rich history and culture of the Zhambyl region, which has fascinated many people since ancient times.
