The State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum "Monuments of аncient Taraz" the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to conduct local history circles on the theme "Know and love your land" for secondary school students, college students and regional universities. In the mausoleum of Karakhan for the third-year students of the Zhambyl Polytechnic College, the staff of the reserve-museum held a thematic lesson on the topic “Medieval architecture: the mausoleum of Karakhan”. During the lesson, students were given a meaningful excursion around the object, the history of the emergence of this monument of medieval architecture of the XI century was told and its architectural features were shown. The students also got acquainted with the contents of the mausoleum's expositions.
