Employees of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave an informative lecture for 1st year students on the topic "Taraz in history" at the Parasat College located in Taraz.
The purpose of the informative lecture, the meaning and significance of the monuments were explained by the specialists of the Department of Scientific Activity Madina Mananbaevna and Gulmaral Ushkempirovna. First of all, he noted the history of the city of Taraz, which was a monument of antiquities, a great center of spirituality, has more than two thousand years of history. Then the museum-reserve familiarized with the unique history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of republican significance, various legends, stories concerning mausoleums. Also during the lecture, students were presented with the history of the city and valuable artifacts discovered during archaeological work in the open-air park "Ancient Taraz".
