In order to promote the history of the Ancient Taraz town, the staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave an informative lecture to students of the Parasat College on the topic "Taraz in history". During the lecture, students were introduced to the history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of republican significance related to the museum-reserve, legends, stories about mausoleums. Also, the students were presented with exhibits found as a result of archaeological excavations, including: gold treasure, ceramics and products made of metal, glass, bone and tenge. The students expressed their fervor, asked a lot of questions and received appropriate answers.
