Employees of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "monuments of ancient Taraz" under the committee of culture of the Ministry of Culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a mobile exhibition on the theme "ancient Taraz along the Great Silk Road" within the framework of the History week at the Nazarbayev Intellectual school.
The students told about the history of valuable artifacts found as a result of archaeological excavations in the ancient town of Taraz, 5 historical and cultural monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Students got acquainted with the history of artifacts belonging to different periods: coins, pots, plates, candlesticks, jugs, etc. Students of the intellectual school showed great activity, asked questions and expressed interest to the staff of the museum-reserve.
The main purpose of the mobile exhibition and lecture is to promote and popularize valuable exhibits from century to century to the younger generation. Teachers and students of the school expressed their gratitude and expressed their impressions of the traveling exhibition with admiration.
