In honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri" of the held a lecture on the topic "Tauelsizdik-Uly dala urpaktaryna amanat!" for students of secondary school № 42. During the lecture, the issues of the history of the kazakh people, the main stages and aspects of the development of Kazakhstan since Independence were discussed. Also, the students were presented with historical exhibits found as a result of archaeological excavations, indicating that the ancient city of Taraz was one of the largest centers of our culture more than two thousand years ago.

At the end of the event, the director of the school, E. Zhantlesov, thanked the staff of the museum-reserve for popularizing the historical and cultural heritage among the younger generation, presenting a "Letter of Thanks" to the museum staff.
