In honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Tourist Information Center "Taraz-Tourism"The Tourism Department of the аkimat of Zhambyl region with the participation of representatives of the tourist centers of the republic conducted a tour of the objects of the State historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri". During the informative tour, they got acquainted with the unique monuments of the middle ages - the mausoleums of Aisha Bibi and Babaji Khatun, with folk tales and legends. Then they continued their acquaintance with the mausoleums of Taraz-Karakhan (Aulie-Ata) and Dauytbek (Shomansur).

They were also given the opportunity to see numerous artifacts discovered during excavations at the ancient Taraz settlement and listen to informative information about the archaeological excavations carried out and get acquainted with the history of the ancient city of Taraz on the example of the archaeological park "Kone Taraz". Then they were invited to a tour of the archaeological and architectural complex "Akyrtas" - one of the most mysterious monuments of International importance, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the tour, the museum staff told them an interesting story of studying Akyrtas, a whole complex where three caravanserais, a water supply system, a place for a garden and park area, and the remains of a signal tower were discovered. The guests were impressed by the architecture of the complex and its history.
