In honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State historical and cultural museum-reserve "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri" held a lecture on the topic "Tarikhy Syrly, yerteni nurly gazhap el!" for students of the Zhambyl Higher Humanitarian College named after Abai. During the lecture, the issues of the history of the Kazakh people, the main stages and aspects of the development of Kazakhstan since Independence were discussed. The students were also presented with historical exhibits found as a result of archaeological excavations, indicating that the ancient city of Taraz was one of the largest centers of our culture more than two thousand years ago. The historical heritage of the Kazakh land is rich and unique. The history of our ancestors deserves to be proud of it!
