The events planned within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Zhambyl region are continuing in Turkestan. In this regard, today in the multifunctional concert hall "Congress Hall" a traveling exhibition "Taraz- Uly dalanyn kone shahary" was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the State historical and cultural reserve-museum "Yezhelgi Taraz eskertkishteri". During the exhibition, unique exhibits found as a result of archaeological excavations were presented to the attention of residents of the city, indicating that the ancient city was the standard of medieval urban culture on the caravan routes of the Great Silk Road and that the ancient city of Taraz was one of the largest centers of our culture more than two thousand years ago.
