The ruler of the pen and the sword is Dautbek Baba.

There are many legends about Dautbek. Dautbеk was related to one of the most important people of the time, Karakhan Baba. In the research of T.N. Senigova it is said: "... the buried man is the ruler of the pen and sword, one of the greatest commanders of the 13th century." According to legend, Ulyk Bilge Iqbalhan Dautbek died in one of the battles. After his death, a monument of a special form was erected at the place of his burial.
